What is KPop Demon Hunters?

Kpop Demon Hunters is a movie that was released June 20, 2025 onto Netflix. Despite being available only on Netflix, the movie was produced by Sony Pictures who utilized the more recent and popular animation style that you might notice in other notable animated movies such as Spider-man, into the Spiderverse. Apart from this, the movie also has a killer soundtrack.
One of my favourite things about this movie was that it was catered to a very specific audience. It’s more than a movie, the movie within it’s self is a pop culture movement just as much as barbie was.
